During March 2018, the NGO Youth Power signed a memorandum with eight high schools from our canton. This memorandum was signed for cooperation between our organization and eight high schools for the next three years.
Within this cooperation will be implemented training of peer educators, professional training for pedagogues, professional training for coordinating teams and teachers of secondary schools with the aim of prevention of violence and promotion of healthier lifestyles among high school students in the HNC area. Also, this activity has been agreed in cooperation with the Ministry of education, science, culture and sports, the HNC education Institute and the Pedagogical Institute of HNC. Schools will have the opportunity to receive comprehensive training and building their resources with the aim of preventing violence in the school area and promoting healthier lifestyles. This activity is implemented as part of the project “Promoting healthier lifestyles among youth in BiH by challenging gender styles”. This project is supported by the Swiss Government and the OAK Foundation and is implemented with the support of CARE International, Balkans.
