On 19 February 2018, the Non-governmental Organization Youth Power organized a meeting with pedagogues and school principals in Mostar within the project “Promoting healthier lifestyles among youth in BiH by challenging gender stereotypes” with the aim of presenting the program, achievements of the programs in the last 10 years and plans for the next three years.
The principals had the opportunity to learn more about the basic of this program, the researches carried out in the previous phases and the relevant data from the research conducted in the previous phase of the program. Activities were planned for the next three years. In co-operation with high school pedagogues, which are associated with this project, a meeting will be held for the training of high school pedagogues on the use of the Youth program manual and methodology in secondary schools.
Based on the conclusions of this meeting and during professional training for pedagogues, the pedagogues will formulate a plan of activities for their schools and these activities will be carried out over the next three years. This activity was carried out in cooperation with the Institute for Education, the Pedagogical Institute and the Ministry of education, science, culture and sport of HNK. This project is supported by the Swiss Government and the OAK Foundation and is implemented with the support of CARE International, Balkans.
