Non-governmental organization Youth Power, together with partners Ostvarenje (Croatia), Centar za jačanje civilnog društva (Serbia) and Outreach Hannover eV (Germany), held an “Enriching and Increasing Fundraising for Youth Work on Inclusion” training program in Mali Iđoš, Serbia from 21st April to 29th April 2018 with the aim of raising european awareness of the realities and opportunities of inclusive society in youth projects against discrimination with marginalized groups and against social exclusion.
This project sought to raise the awareness of young people about the various european programs related to EU social policy and how effectively networking with other similar organizations across Europe can increase the quality, impact and sustainability of their work for inclusive society.
The objectives of the training were:
- to facilitate the exchange of practices among young people from different countries / communities on different aspects and perceptions of marginalization and inclusion, different insights and perceptions of working with young people with marginalized groups and values in these works
- Encourage and empower young people to actively promote the fight against social exclusion in their activities while respecting the values and the principles of European youth work for inclusion / diversity and proposed solutions and recommendations for challenges in project management and fundraising
- Empower young people and stimulate their innovation and creativity in fundraising and obtaining written applications for work with marginalized groups, and thus to foster a quality exchange between the main young people and those from marginalized groups
