CARE partner organization, Youth Power conducted a campaign regarding of the “International Day against Drug Abuse” on 26th June, 2020. The campaign was organized for members of the Be Man Club Mostar and all young people who wanted to join in these activities. The aim was to warn young people about the problem of drug abuse and motivate them to work together in the future to prevent this problem.

The campaign was conducted through two activities. The first activity consisted of a short knowledge quiz on drug abuse problems, where members of the Be Man Club answered questions through an online platform. After the quiz, an educational workshop was held.

Members had the opportunity to educate themselves about the harmful effects of drugs on human health. They also discussed how they would create a drug-free society and how they would work in the future to raise awareness of this problem and the harmful consequences that drugs bring to individuals as well as society as a whole.

The activity is implemented within the project Young Men Initiative II: “Promoting Healthier Lifestyles among Youth in Bosnia and Herzegovina by Challenging Gender Stereotypes II”, supported by the Swiss Government, Oak Foundation and CARE International Balkans Bosnia and Herzegovina.
