We are excited to share the highlights of our participation in a groundbreaking project focused on enhancing the capacities of professionals working in the fields of youth, health, and migration. The project aims to foster institutional strength and promote positive outcomes in these crucial areas. Yesterday, our journey finished in Norway with a meeting and agreement, marking a significant milestone in our collective efforts.

Our primary focus during this project is to exchange and learn from examples of good practices in refugee health, policies, and integration. Throughout the last week, we talked about various topics and engage in valuable discussions to gain insights from experts in the field.

This meeting in Norway builds upon the activities we previously conducted in Turkey, Germany, and Austria. We are building a comprehensive understanding of the challenges and successes in different contexts, which will guide us in developing innovative approaches and empowering communities.

The program entails a diverse range of activities designed to foster collaboration and deepen our knowledge. We started this meeting with energizers and getting to know each other to workshops on cultural understanding and the exploration of Norwegian healthcare programs for migrants, we are immersing ourselves in a wealth of information and experiences. Additionally, we had a city tour walk planned, allowing us to experience the local culture and immerse ourselves in the Norwegian way of life.

A significant component of our work involves group workshops, where we explored the unique challenges that various immigrant groups are facing and propose measures to address them effectively. We will examine topics such as minority issues, religious considerations, environmental refugees, and those fleeing conflict zones. The rich diversity of experiences shared by participants will undoubtedly contribute to a broader understanding and promote inclusive solutions.

As part of the program, each participant will have the opportunity to present and reflect upon the practices implemented in their own countries. This exchange of knowledge will facilitate a cross-cultural understanding and inspire us to further improve our initiatives.

Furthermore, we have visited 22B, a notable organization that provides insight into the experiences of refugees and the efforts undertaken to support their integration. The visit had deepen our empathy and reinforce our commitment to making a positive impact.

Lastly, we look forward to learning about the empowering program conducted by NTNU, where we gained valuable insights into strategies that have successfully empowered individuals from diverse backgrounds.

Stay tuned for updates as we share the outcomes and insights derived from this project. Together, we can work towards building inclusive societies and ensuring the well-being of refugees and migrants.
