Youth Power organized a training course called “New Digital Enterprise Start-ups” in Zadar, from 30 October to 7 November 2018. The aim of the training was to develop the capacity of organizations and their Centers for empowerment of young women entrepreneurship at the local level and their youth workers in the competences for digital entrepreneurship.

Training was done within the Independent Young Women in Digital Entrepreneurship Era project, which consists of several activities and one of the activities is this training in Zadar.Trening has gathered 24 participants from 6 organizations and countries (Bosnia and Herzegovina, Croatia , Serbia, Macedonia, Slovakia and Montenegro).

One of the training goals was to empower youth workers and build their competences for the development of programs to launch digital entrepreneurship (young women), to share their experience with the situation of youth unemployment and vocational programs that exist for entrepreneurship among young people and young women, in different European countries. To increase the knowledge and competences about the IT sector, to develop the capacity of the new era of entrepreneurship.

During the training sessions, participants had the chance to work through trainings from Bosnia and Herzegovina, Slovakia, Croatia and Serbia through the ten days. One of the workshops were “entrepreneurial learning” (what, why, models?) – a way of enriching youth work, “how to start a digital campaign” (initial process and digital strategy).
