The Vote for Future was aimed at increasing the participation of young people in the general elections 2018 by conducting voter education and voter mobilization campaigns. In addition, the project had four live performances with politicians to increase interaction between young people and politicians.

The main objective of this project was:

1) To increase the participation of young people in elections 2018,

2) Increase knowledge of the electoral process

3) Increase their awareness of the importance of youth participation in elections.

The objectives were as follows:

1) 10000 young people received education for voting,

2) 10000 young people understood the importance of elections for them and their country and were more willing to vote,

3) education of 30 young leaders to encourage young people to vote,

4) Enable young people to engage with politicians.

Local politicians and parties have gained knowledge on how to co-operate more effectively with young people. Political parties and non-governmental organizations focused on young people from the county also established a relationship in the future, which was missing. Furthermore, young people lacked interest or confidence in the democratic process leading to rejection, and young people are being sacrificed and similar behavior. Possessing skills, knowledge and opportunities to engage in democratic processes is crucial to building trust in the democratic system and actors within it. Therefore, this project had a three-pronged approach; first, giving a better understanding of the democratic process; second, changing the attitudes of young people; Thirdly, giving young people the opportunity to interact with decision-makers. This approach will make young people more active in the future. Furthermore, if more young people are going to take part in the elections, they will spread their experience with other young people as necessary to create a tradition of participation in democratic processes.
